ATMOSFEAR - Intamin's RING DROP at Liseberg, Sweden.

INTAMIN has been engaged by the famous Liseberg park in Göteborg, Sweden with the modification of their 30 year old observation tower to a thrilling free fall attraction, namely a RING DROP. Throughout the fascinating and ingenious retrofit-process, Intamin displaced the old observation cabin with a sophisticated ring equipped with 36 seats (with individual restraints) and magnets. Intamin’s highly renown, patented and fail-safe magnetic brakes guarantee a very smooth, safe and efficient deceleration. Since its opening in April 2011, ATMOSFEAR, as the Ring Drop is named by Liseberg, became instantly the by far most popular free fall attraction in the park. With a height of 116 meters, ATMOSFEAR is the tallest Free Fall Attraction in Europe.
